WHERE IS IQALUIT?

Iqaluit is situated at the head of Frobisher Bay on Baffin Island, in the Territory of Nunavut, Canada. Iqaluit is only accessible by air transport; there are no roads connecting Iqaluit to any other community or city.

Canadian North and First Air have regularly scheduled flights to Iqaluit from Ottawa and Montreal; flight duration is 3 hours. Iqaluit is also accessible from Winnipeg via Rankin Inlet and Edmonton and Calgary via Yellowknife and Rankin Inlet.
